Due to the rapid development of new coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic in Denmark and in Aalborg, I was determined to start working from home from now on. This decision was made based on my prediction of continued growth in future cases of infection in North Jutland and my physical condition.

It is important to point out that I have always been optimistic about the control of the disease. However, as a normal person who has witnessed all the sad events in China and in other regions and now the appeasing policies in Europe, I should say currently I can only guarantee the health of myself, my family, and those around me by self-isolation.

If you have any questions, please email or call me. In addition, I will participate in the teaching activities normally, but will refuse to contact any individuals who may be dangerous to my health.

Aalborg University recommends that everyone at the university follow the authorities’ hygiene recommendations to prevent spreading the virus:

  1. Wash your hands frequently and if possible use hand sanitizer
  2. Cough or sneeze in your sleeves - not your hands
  3. Avoid handshakes, hugs and kisses - limit physical contact
  4. Pay attention to cleaning - both at home and at work
  5. Be aware when in crowded places
